DOLPHIN CONNECTION TEXAS

INGLESIDE ON THE BAY, TEXAS

05/03/11...Oklahoma sucks & Texas Blows.
They say Oklahoma sucks and Texas blows. Gosh, the winds just won't stop. Spring time in south Texas always brings lots of wind. However, this is just plain crazy and ridiculous. In the month of April we were only able to get out in the blue 4 times and that was in the morning early before the winds picked up. To make matters worse, the winds came from the south, making our side of the bay extremely rough. At least we haven't had tornado's and flooding like many of our customers to our north. However, financially it is just as devastating. Our life has always been totally out of our control with wind, rough bay waters and dolphins. We have accepted that, but I must tell you it gets totally depressing at times and I would say that this is one of those times. This to shall pass, says the word. Please pray that it does and the winds stop. If only for a week. Thanks! We have eight baby dolphins born so far. Around mid month out in the blue we came upon a mother trying too get her dead baby, approx. six month old to swim. I don't know what happened to it. There was a time when I would have retrieved its body to find out. Now, I see no point in that. Realizing how important it was to this mother to mourn her loss. She kept it with her pushing it about. Unable to accept its passing. It was so sad. The bond, passion and grief displayed by the mother was so overwhelming. Later, that afternoon I ran across her again. Still with her baby. Such is life for our non-terrestrial neighbors. Not that much different then our own.
